Great products - terrible case on 4 legs last year. I washed using the applicator, dried (I used a towelette under bandages while he had his feed), and applied the cream. No picking scabs. Already this year I have used the cream several nights in a row (without washing & drying first - time poor!) and the 20c patch of scabs was gone in 3 days. Plus I'm not so worried about this product getting on my skin /hands.
